We are still feeling the eclipse’s intensity but its ‘over the top’ energy is waning. Its forceful influence will now recede in the background until next July. Next summer, we will be given another chance to look at all the issues that were brought up this month but not resolved. We won’t need to do anything, rest assured, those topics will resurface on their own and will be dealt with at that time. Big life themes travel with us over periods of 18 months, 3 series of solar and lunar eclipses every 6 months, which nudge us to grow. Certain eclipses are more potent than others and the January 2019 ones were quite powerful. Perhaps the Universe is asking all of us, no matter our level of consciousness, to wake up! I feel eclipses are a fabulous blessing as they truly aid us to get back on our rightful path, if we have veered off.

This weekend we should try, despite all that’s going on, to take moments of rest. If we cannot physically rest, then we should adopt an attitude of pressing ‘pause’ mentally or take breaks regardless. We may pretend to be ‘on vacation’ even though life goes on. That has served me well in the past.

Why this weekend? because it’s my birthday on Monday and we will all party hard! No, just kidding, the reason is because we are in the dark of the moon phase, approaching a super powerful new moon on Feb 4th, 2019. This new moon is on the World Axis, astrology jargon to mean that it matters a great deal, affecting personal and mundane matters. It feels to me like all the pent up energy accumulated during the Mars and Venus retrogrades last year (2018), was released as soon as we moved into the new year (2019) and will finally see concrete manifestation within days after this Chinese New Year. All the internal and external work, re-organisation, re-evaluations, shifting gear we did in 2018 will start paying off for real next week and the following. This Aquarius new moon is a solid trigger, a very optimistic one!

Next week will bring a new beginning that will start with a bang! with the electric and bright vibration of the Sun and Moon both at 15 Aquarius, a sign ruled by Uranus, the planet of Freedom (all levels and layers of freedom) and of the Now! Yep, you read right, Uranus ultimately facilitates our finding our strength and power by Being in the Now, that’s our freedom:-) Let’s use this awareness to transform remaining tension into energy, to transmute stress into excitement, anxiety into anticipation. Let’s part from the old, quit the fear, drop the doubts, feel the flow of Life and get results. Let’s be open to surprises, to the changes that have been coming anyway... Let’s allow ourselves to be inspired to action, leading us to success, Yay!

So let’s rest from the exhaustion we may feel, after a few very wired weeks, charged up by the Jan 5/6 Solar Eclipse, the Uranus station and the Jan 20/21 Lunar Eclipse (see past posts). Let’s replenish our batteries now because the next 2 weeks will be conducive to start new projects, excellent part of the cycle to pursue new ventures. It will be an auspicious time to focus on our ideals and aspirations, propose our wild ideas, be bold, daring and courageous, to not be afraid to push limits and boundaries, and to take calculated risks. This weekend, we need to regroup, rejuvenate and prepare to leap, once out of the gate, on Tuesday… after this Monday’s Snow moon.

The January 2019 eclipses stirred the pot, perhaps brought some unexpected shifts of plans, revealed some truths and may have been a turning point for some of us. Lingering indecisions became an urge to act, at times, brought on by an emotional crisis or a confrontation. We may have lost, sometimes unexpectedly or abruptly, what was no longer meant to be. If so, we must take the time to mourn, as to (when ready) create new, open space for a fresh start. We set good intentions and initiated laying the groundwork for our dreams to manifest in the next 6 months. Next week, we will continue on our renewed path, with the added help and guidance from the Cosmos with this very special abundant new moon sitting at an extra powerful degree.
